Ariel, King Tritons youngest daughter, is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea, and whilst visiting the surface, falls in love with the dashing Prince Eric. She bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. The bargain is not what it seems and she needs the help of her colourful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.
