Lucky is an old US Navy veteran of rigid habits and attitudes in a small town. After suddenly collapsing, he realises that his health in old age is inevitably going to decline and he has to accept it. In the difficult reassessment, Lucky must face up to what he believes in and finds that his life has it’s positive side as he searches for some meaning that he can accept.

King’s Lynn Community Cinema Club
KLCCC is an independent, not-for-profit organisation for film enthusiasts in the area. We aim to show a varied programme of films which reflect the tastes and interests of our members.
Films are screened at the historic St George’s Guildhall, King Street, usually on the second Thursday of the month. We programme two seasons per year, May-October and November-April, screening at least one film per month. Members pay a subscription of £30 for a season of films and can bring along two guests to each one. You may join at any time simply paying pro rata and new members are always welcome.
Day memberships are available on the door at £5 per person.
