Winners of the 2023 Kirckman Concert Society Artists and recipients of the prestigious Tunnell Trust Awards in 2021, the Elmore Quartet is young award- winning ensemble founded in 2017 at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Mendelssohn’s youthful second quartet opens this hour-long concert, before the quartet are joined by clarinettist James Gilbert for a performance of perhaps one of the most famous works for clarinet, Mozart’ lyrical Clarinet Quintet.
Prior to the concert enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, from 10.30am (included in the ticket price).
