The 2024 King’s Lynn Festival is brought to a magnificent close with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. From its first powerful chords, Elgar’s ever-popular cello concerto is one of the most heartrending pieces ever composed. In contrast, Dvořák’s eighth symphony is both cheery and lyrical, drawing its inspiration from the Bohemian folk music the composer loved.
