Wes Anderson’s marine odyssey sends washed-up oceanographer Steve Zissou (Bill Murray) on a quest to reclaim his relevance and avenge the life of his partner by tracking down the elusive Jaguar Shark. However Zissou discovers that navigating his dysfunctional relationships will be just as much trouble as voyaging out into the pirate-infested waters in search of his redemption.
This oceanic adventure features an ensemble cast including Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Anjelica Huston, Willem Defoe, Jeff Goldblum and Michael Gambon. Screening in 35mm, the vividness of Anderson’s signature aesthetic combined with the deep-sea beauty of The Life Aquatic will make for an experience unlike any other.
