Freddy Kempf is one of today’s most successful pianists, captivating sell-out audiences worldwide. Known for his exceptional talent and wide-ranging repertoire, he’s earned a reputation as both a dynamic, risk-taking performer and a thoughtful, sensitive artist.

Although Freddy made his concerto debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of eight, he achieved wider public recognition in 1992, when he won the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition.

A prolific recitalist, Freddy has performed in many of the world’s most impressive concert halls, collaborating with esteemed conductors such as Chailly, Ashkenazy, Dutoit, and Temirkanov. He has also worked with many prestigious ensembles, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, La Scala Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Taiwan National Symphony, and the Dresden Philharmonic.

Freddy performs solo, chamber and concertante music in Europe, the Americas, East Asia and Australia, and has released recorded recitals of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff and Schumann.
