KLODS presents - Hotel Frankenstein
The show, Hotel Frankenstein, is a fast moving comedy and due to be staged at the Springwood Theatre in King’s Lynn nightly at 7.30 from 30th October to 1st November, when a matinee will also be staged at 2.30pm on the Saturday.
Dr. Frankenstein’s granddaughter is on a quest for the perfect brain to bring her grandfather’s monster to life once again. She advertises what is now her castle as a holiday destination so she can select from what she is hoping to be a smorgasbord of brains. With the help of her not-so loyal assistant, Egor, the castle is transformed for the evil scheme.
Julius T. Woodknocker, a frustrated comic with a nervous condition, is among the guests who are in for much more than a relaxing vacation. Constantly trying out new routines that might save his waning career, he harasses the guests (and embarrasses his family) with his Groucho Marx buffoonery. Mystery and mayhem ensue when a famous vampire couple and the tortured grandson of the Wolfman respond to Ms Frankenstein’s holiday hotel advert. As the scheme develops and some of the guests prepare to thwart Ms Frankenstein’s plan, mix-ups and misunderstandings rule the day. Secret passageways, diabolical plots, and young love all play major roles in this spooky spoof that will have you howling with laughter!
